A picture of stacked record albums was the impetus for this circle quilt. The orange flower outer border fabric was my focus for color selection. The color orange makes me happy, how about that! I used the Circles Sew Simple tool by Nancy Zieman. I was going to teach a class on making circles with that tool, but it must not be in production anymore as I have not been able to find it anywhere. I didn’t want the finished quilt to be heavy from the multiple layers, so it was a little work to cut out background fabric as the circles were layered. There must be over 200 circles on the quilt. As usual if it will enhance a quilt, I like to add the faux piped binding for that sliver of color.
