Mary Beth Dunn is a Kentucky born and raised, blue bleeding, lover all things quilting! Since she retired from her civil service job as an oceanographer with the federal government in 2014 she has focused her creative talents on designing quilts, making quilts and teaching quilting. She has won 3 Viewer’s Choice Awards and a multitude of Ribbons at Kentucky State Fairs. She takes hard techniques and turns them into easy and fun improvisational pattern piecing. She has a fondness for designing beautiful quilts around panels. She teaches free motion quilting on home and long arm machines. She spreads the quilting gospel from shops and guilds across the state of KY and from her home studio in Lexington.
She is available to be guest speaker at guild meetings, quilt classes and retreats, with plenty of quilts to display.
